IGF-1 DES

IGF-1 DES (1–3) is a truncated analog of insulin-like growth factor-1 lacking the first three N-terminal amino acids and studied for its interaction with the IGF-1 receptor (IGF-1R) in experimental models. It is investigated for its enhanced receptor binding affinity and reduced interaction with IGF-binding proteins. Preclinical research utilizes IGF-1 DES to examine receptor activation kinetics, PI3K/Akt and MAPK signaling cascades, and growth factor–mediated cellular signaling under controlled laboratory conditions.
